In addition to sharing music with others, GCC is passionate about learning!

Vocal instruction is a regular part of chorus rehearsals, and a very important component of the chorus experience. Weekly rehearsals integrate lessons on vocal warmups, breathing techniques, exercises to extend vocal range and other important aspects of a cappella singing.

Regularly scheduled coaches provide advanced instruction on approaches to improving tone and pitch, choreography, music theory, and more on the art of competitive barbershop singing.

You do not need to know how to read music to be a member. Our singers have a wide range of musical education and experience. You also do not need to know what vocal part you sing – we will help!

All experience levels are welcome! GCC rehearsals provide a friendly environment to expand your musical knowledge!
